Realized I’ve actually managed to do a shitload of writing in the last week or so.
Now if only some of these chunks lined up into full songs.
Oh well.
Of course, the dumb thing is that I have one album fully written and two-thirds-finished in terms of recording, another one 90% written but only 10% recorded, so the fact that all the new stuff is still nebulous is rather inconsequential at this point as I have a backlog of completed songs waiting to be fully recorded and waiting to be released, but still. I hate unfinished work, and I much prefer to have a large cushion of ready-to-go material.
But whatever.
