Shortly after writing my previous rant about Barbie and Ken, I found a Ken-sized Gibson Les Paul Custom toy on eBay:
Barbie seems more interested. Or at least she seems to be reaching for something other than Ken’s wallet this time.
(Side note: I just bought a 1980 Les Paul Custom, ended up getting a white one like this miniature. And in the established tradition I have going, this one shall be given a guy’s name. I think I’ll call him ‘Keith.’ More info once he arrives from ‘Murka in a couple weeks.)
