Back up and running, maybe

OK, so it came to my attention that this site didn’t load for a while, maybe months.

It was working fine last summer when I had to rescue a bunch of other sites that got hacked, so it seems like maybe it was an update that didn’t happen or whatever.

Anyway, it seems to be better now after a morning spent picking around in recovery mode and deleting plug-ins and other random shit.

There are a multitude of broken links due to the age of the site and things like me deciding Bandcamp can get fucked and deleting my accounts a couple years ago, etc.

I’m working in visual arts these days and if I ever did get back to making music, it probably wouldn’t be maQLu, so don’t expect new stuff, but I would like to have a definitive archive of the years I spent on this project, so I will be going through and fixing things, uploading MP3s for downloads, etc.

However, I don’t want to spend an entire week straight doing that, so I’ll probably take it one Sunday afternoon at a time. In the meantime, pretty much everything specifically related to my releases is relegated to draft mode since I figure it’s better to have it appear empty than to look full but have no working links. As things get fixed, I’ll republish them.

I’ve left the “tracks of the week” sort of posts, old poetry, etc. etc. though, even where a couple of the YouTube embeds are toast.

In the meantime, if you want to see what I’m up to these days, check out my main site at (which just got a 2 day marathon rebuild along with 4, count ’em, 4 portfolio subdomains) or follow me on Instagram @pyradraculea.
