Morningstar speaks: On Carthage

Cato the Elder always ended his speeches, no matter the topic, with the saying “Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam.” (“Moreover, I advise that Carthage must be destroyed.”)

This is as relevant now as it was in Cato’s time. In every life there will always be a Carthage and it must always be destroyed as part of the natural order of business to find your own peace and stability.

Carthage can never be your friend, no matter how friendly it may pretend to be as part of its strategy to ruin you. It will always have spies to track your movements and schemes to stymy you. You can never make peace with Carthage, only total war.

Whatever your Carthage is, burn it to the ground, salt the fields and cut off all contact.

Carthage must be destroyed.
